Today we succesfully tested the Taran Backup MySQL backup solution on-line. For a real test we've chosen a huge database with more than 17GB, including one table of more than 7GB (more than 40 million records in that table) from a real IP address, in a network (off-site) and finally even on wireless one.

And we did it successfully! As you can see the test was running for more than 110 minutes, but also it was on separate thread, because during this task, the test environment was used for general office tasks (editing documents, spreadsheets, e-mails etc.).

We consider this success as a milestone and also it helps us to enforce our believes in order to launch as soon as possible the first beta release.
